When Last? · Last updated 24 September 2026
When Last? keeps your things on your device and in your private iCloud. Nothing is sent to Joao Frasco unless you turn on anonymous community stats. That switch is off by default. The app does not track you.
Names of things, log dates, notes, photos, reminders, and settings stay on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud database. That storage is your Apple account. It is not developer analytics. Joao Frasco does not receive those records.
Purchases are processed by Apple. Joao Frasco does not receive your payment card details. There is no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party analytics SDK.
If you choose Share with household on a thing, Apple’s iCloud sharing invites people you pick. Logs shared that way are visible to those people, including names on entries. Photos are not copied into the share. Household sharing is not the anonymous community feature below.
Share anonymous stats is off until you turn it on. You can turn it off at any time. Sharing is also off for each thing until you allow that thing. Health-related catalog things, such as period or smoking, need a second switch, Share health-related stats, before they can be included.
If you opt in, the app may send at most a weekly summary for a catalog thing: a catalog key, the intent, a coarse time-gap bucket, a coarse yearly-count bucket, and a rotating anonymous contribution ID. If you also choose demographics, it may include an age band, an ISO country code you pick (not GPS), and sex. Exact dates, custom thing names, notes, photos, Apple ID, email, and device identifiers are not sent.
A comparison is shown only when at least 50 people are in that group. Smaller groups are not returned. The app then shows your own history instead of a community figure. Demographic slices use the same rule and fall back to a broader group when a slice is too small.
Turn Share anonymous stats off to stop new sends. Delete my contribution asks the service to remove rows for your current anonymous ID. Reset anonymous ID replaces that ID so older rows can no longer be tied to you. Deleting the app removes its on-device data. Data in your private iCloud follows your iCloud account.
